Tips and tricks to help you find cheap flights from Bristol to Tenerife South

Useful information about the flight from Bristol to Tenerife South
What do you need to know about your Holiday on Tenerife?
The largest and best known of Spain's Canary Islands, Tenerife, is a popular vacation spot for people of all ages. The beautifully colourful sandy beaches and the many tourist attractions make it a popular destination all year round.
When is the best time to travel to Tenerife?
With its constant warm climate, you can visit Tenerife anytime. The peak season is in January to April, when flights from Britain are less expensive. Hotel prices, however, are at their highest then. The weather in September is perfect and the prices for accommodation lower. You may want to choose a hotel in the south, as temperatures in northern Tenerife are cooler and rainfall is higher. Tenerife has a very well known Carnival celebration. In Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz, the festivities last three weeks, during February and March. May 30th is "Dias de las islas Canarias," a holiday on all of the Canary Islands. You can enjoy many local events, with music, dance and festivals. October 12th is Columbus Day and a Spanish national holiday with events and parades.
Before you travel, tips and cost of living
Restaurant prices in the Canary Islands are a bit lower than those in Britain. The main resorts and beaches in the south of Tenerife, such as Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are very popular with tourists. If you're looking for a quieter environment, choose the west coast with its secluded beaches and low key bars. Active travelers will like the northern part of the island, with its hiking and surfing opportunities. The southwest coast of Tenerife is a wonderful spot to watch whales, and hikers looking for an adventure will love the Teide, a volcano which is located in Teide National Park, a World Heritage Site.
Tenerife transport and accommodation
If arriving at Tenerife South Airport, visitors can take the buses 343, 350 or 111 to Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. The price of a bus ticket is about three euro with a travel time approximately 15 minutes. The bus to Santa Cruz costs around nine euros and takes at least one hour. A taxi ride will cost around fifty euros and takes approximately 45 minutes. Local transport is provided by the bus company "Titsa." Prices begin at EUR 1.50 for a single ticket. Taxis are less expensive than in Britain. The minimum fare begins at ca. EUR 5.00 for the first 3 kilometres, then EUR 1.00 per further kilometres. Once you've arrived, you can expect to pay about twenty euros per night for a hostel or pension. A hotel with three stars costs about thirty-five euros.
