Ibiza travel tips

Ibiza: vibrant Balearic

Island Ibiza and Formentera form the Pine Islands. The White Isle is well-known for its nightclubs and loud bars, but there's also a quieter side with charming spots for the non-clubbing type of visitor. A hire car is essential for finding these "secret" localities.

For history lovers, Ibiza Town was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, with its Dalt Vila fortress, some dating back to the fourth century BC. The harbour is picturesque and for those who love beautiful sunsets, Na Xamena is where many people enjoy the magnificent red sunset.
