Flights from Manchester to Tenerife

The flight route from Manchester (MAN) to Tenerife (TCI) is popular with tourists in the United Kingdom. The route is busy throughout the year due to the excellent weather on the Canary Islands. Direct flights from Manchester are operated to Tenerife South Reina Sofia by a number of airlines, for example Monarch, Easyjet and Ryanair and jet2. The airlines will transport passengers to the island of Tenerife in a flight time of 4 hours and 30 minutes and there are between 2 to 5 flights a day. There are, however, no non-stop services from Manchester to Tenerife North. Some airlines, such as Iberia and KLM, operate on this route with one or two stopovers. While travelling with stopovers will take longer, this may well be cheaper than taking a direct flight.

Cheap flight to Tenerife

Due to the fact that Tenerife is a year round destination, the price of an air ticket will not fluctuate much depending on the season. It is, however, advisable to book tickets well in advance and to avoid travelling during the school holidays in order to to get a low cost flight. The usual destination airport is Tenerife South (TFS) and this is the most convenient place to land for access to the beach resorts along the south coast of the island such as Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos. There is a public bus service to many resorts and towns on the island from the airport.
