How many airports are there in Cyprus?

There are two main international airports in Cyprus. Larnaca International Airport is Cyprus' main international airport serving the island. Tourists heading for the resorts of Ayia Napa and Nissi Beach for example.

Paphos airport is located in the second largest airport and near the popular resort of Kyrenia. 

What are Larnaca's public transport options?

Arriving visitors can make use of the public transport options. There are several buses connecting airport and city centre, eg. bus lines 417, 419, 425 and 429. The travel time from Larnaca Airport into Larnaca is between15 and 30 minutes.

Hire cars are widely available at the airport. During peak season these should always be reserved well in advance.

Alternatively, taxis from the airport to beach resorts are also available at the terminal.

Shuttle buses are available at the airport and will serve cities in Cyprus. Ayia Napa can be reached using the intercity bus which takes around an hour from Larnaca bus station. A single ticket costs around 4 euros.

Accommodation prices are around 30 euros per person per night on average. Peak season accommodation can be more expensive.

When is the best time to holiday in Cyprus?

Beach holidays in Cyprus are best planned for the months between March and October, when the weather is reliable and water temperatures pleasant.
