Airport East Midlands EMA

East Midlands Airport is located near Derby, and also known by the name of Nottingham Airport. It is the main international airport in the relatively small central English county of Leicestershire. It is located exactly between the cities of Derby, Nottingham and Leicester and is managed by the Manchester Airports Group. Since the move of the low-cost airlines Ryanair and BMIbaby to the airport offering cheap flights from East Midlands to Alicante or Malaga in Spain, or Tenerife and Gran Canaria in the Canaries, the airport is experiencing an increase in passenger numbers. East Midlands airport is also a base for Thomson Airways and Thomas Cook operating seasonal charter and scheduled flights to popular holiday destinations, for example from East Midlands to Mallorca.
