Airport Milan-Linate LIN
Milan Linate Airport, also known as Enrico Forlanini (an aviation pioneer from Milan), is Milan’s national airport in the Lombardy region. Besides this airport, there are two further airports in the Milan region: Malpensa in the north and Milan-Bergamo. Milan Linate airport is used predominantly for national flights and by low-cost airlines flying to European destinations. Despite the fact that the airport is the smaller of the two Milan airports, the airport Milan Linate is considered a large airport. It is one of the three busiest airports in the country after Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa, handling a total of 9 million passengers annually.- URL: Official website

Location
The airport is 5 miles east of the centre of Milan at the "Tangenziale Est". Motorists drive on the A51 to exit 6 "Linate-Viale Forlanini“ and then follow the signs to the airport. The SP15b (Viale Enrico Forlanini) from Milan also goes directly to the airport.
Rail passengers take trains to Milano-Centrale and then take the shuttle bus that serves the airport every day between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 11.45 p.m. at 30 minute intervals. The bus 73 also runs between Piazza San Babila in the centre of the city and the airport at 10 minute intervals between 6 o’clock in the morning and 1 in the morning. There a five shuttles a day running between the two Milan airports Milan-Malpensa and Milan-Linate operated by Air Pullman.
