Airport Kavala KVA

Kavala Airport is an important international airport in Greece. It is near Kavala, also the provincial capital of the region of the same name in eastern Macedonia. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority), which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.

Location

The airport was opened in 1952 and is 15 miles east of the seaport of Kavala, near the town of Chrysoupoli. Take the A2 or the E90 from Kavala towards Chrysoupoli and follow the signs to the airport shortly before Kevala. There is currently no shuttle service from Kavala. Please take a taxi.
