The most convenient way to get from the airport into Corfu Town is by taxi. A single journey costs around 10 euros. There is also bus line 15, which can be used for about 1.20 euros. More destinations are served from Corfu town bus station. It is advisable to book a hire car from home.

Accommodation prices in hotels range from 35 to 40 euros per night. Hostels cost only around 12 euros if you are lucky. Small flats can be booked from around 30 euros per night.

lIf you don't want to hire a car, you can explore the island by bus. Blue buses run in and around Corfu Town, green buses operate all over the island. The cost of the buses varies depending on the route. In the city, a ride costs from about 1.20 euros, depending on the zone, and a day ticket costs about 5 euros.
