Orlando Sanford International Airport is in the second most important airport in Orange County, Florida after Orlando Airport. Due to the large number of flying schools the airport is one of the 30 busiest airports in the world. The airport is administered by the English management group TBI plc, also responsible for managing airports in Bolivia, Great Britain and Sweden. The airport is served primarily by English charter and scheduled airlines. Allegiant Air, based in Las Vegas, also has an important hub in Sanford. Orlando Stanford International is served by a number of flights from the UK, e.g. flight London-Orlando or Manchester-Orlando, and seasonal flights from Belfast. Flights from the UK are operated by Monarch, Thomson airways and Thomas Cook, who transport passengers to the popular holiday resorts in Florida.
