Brisbane International Airport is one of the major airports on the Australian continent. It is at place three by annual passenger volume and is primarily used for regional air traffic in the Australian state of Queensland but is also an important hub for many flights to South East Asia and Oceania. Location
First in use in 1928, the airport is about 15 km or 8 miles north east of the city in the district of Eagle Farm and is easy to reach on the Highway M-1. There is a regular shuttle service between the airport and the city operated by SKYTRANS. Alternatively use the trains (Airtrain), a taxi or coaches.
The airport has a national and an international terminal. There is a daily shuttle at 15 minute intervals and 30 minute intervals during off peak times that operates between the two terminals.
