Bologna airport (Aeroporto di Bologna-Borgo Panigale), also known as Guglielmo Marconi Airport, is an important airport in Italy. It is one of the 5 largest airports in the country by traffic volume and is near Bologna, the capital of the north Italian region Emilia-Romagna. The airport is about 4 miles north west of the centre of Bologna. Those arriving by car please take the A14/E45 motorway to exit #4 Bologna-San Lazzaro and then follow the signs to the airport.
Rail passengers take trains to Bologna Centrale and then use the shuttle bus AEROBUS which serves the airport daily between 5.20 a.m. and 9. 20 p.m.
Bus: Aerobus to the railway station, bus & fly service (Ferrera to the airport), or buses from Modena and Siena are available from the airport.
