Airport Santorini JTR
Santorini airport, also known as Thira airport, is one of the most important airports in Greece. The airport is on the volcanic island of the same name part of the Cyclades island group and during the summer season is a popular holiday destination for large numbers of tourists. The airport is administered by the Hellenic Civil aviation Authority, which is also responsible for monitoring Greek aerospace.- URL: Official website

Location
The airport was opened in 1976 and is about 4 miles south of Thira, the capital of the island in the southern Cyclades,. There is a shuttle bus that runs between the airport and Thira during the summer months at 90 minute intervals. From the bus station in Thira there are bus services to all larger towns on the island.
Those travelling by car please use the road towards Kamari or Monolithus and then follow the signs to the airport.
