Metz-Nancy-Lorraine Airport (short: Matz airport) is in the north-eastern French Département Moselle. It is the largest and most important airport in the region of Lorraine, which borders on Germany. The airport is administered by the Groupement Intercommunal de Gestion de l’Aéroport Lorrain (GIGAL).

The airport is about 20 km or 14 miles south-east of Metz and 30 km or 18 miles north of Nancy near the community of Goin.
