Airport Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, OH CVG

Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport in the town of Hebron is by far the largest and most important airport in the State of Kentucky. The catchment area of the airport includes the surrounding communities of the three states of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. The airport is therefore often called Greater Cincinnati Airport, even though Cincinnati is already north of the river in Ohio.

Location

Opened in 1947, the airport is located near the town of Hebron, about 22 km or 17 miles southwest of downtown Cincinnati. The Airport can be easily reached from all directions, the best option is the Interstate I-71 and I-75 at exit 185 and the Interstate I-275 at exit 4.

Between the airport and downtown Cincinnati the express bus route 2X of the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) operates a regular service. Departure times are available locally. Alternatively, please take a taxi or rent a car.
