Airport Ankara Esenboga ESB

Ankara-Esenboga International Airport is one of the most important airports in Turkey. It is north east of the city centre near the village Esenboga.

Location

Opened in 1955, the airport is about 16 miles north east of the city centre. From Ankara use the D-140 (Ozal Boulevard) northwards to the D-180 and then follow the signs to the airport on the D-180.

Rail and bus passengers head for Ankara main station or the ASTI central bus station and then take a HAVAS shuttle bus to the airport, the bus operates every day between 7 am and 11 pm at 30 minute intervals, the bus also leaves from the HAVAS office in Ulus.
