Airport Amman - Queen Alia International Airport AMM

Amman - Queen Alia International Airport, named after the third wife of the Jordanian king, is the largest and most important airport in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The capital city also has a second older airport south of Amman, about 4 km or 2 miles east of the city centre, Amman - Marka International Airport.

Location

First in use in 1983, the airport is about 30 km or 24 miles south of Amman, in the village Al Jiza. Between the airport and Amman there is a bus that operates during the day between approximately 7.00 am and 10 pm at 30-minute intervals and between 10 pm and 7 am at 60 minute intervals (Sariyah Express). Alternatively, please take a taxi or rent a car.
