Airport Seville SVQ
Seville Airport, also known by the name of San Pablo airport, is the second most important airport in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia as far as traffic volume is concerned, behind Malaga Airport. It is especially busy during the summer, when many tourists arrive on flights from all over Europe. The airport is managed by AENA, who are also responsible for monitoring Spanish airspace.Due to Seville's convenient location inland between the Costa del Sol and the Costa de la Luz, and the excellent motorway network to cities such as Malaga, Cadiz and Jerez, Seville airport is gainng in significance for tourism to the region. However, the beautiful city of Seville is also a popular destination for short city breaks. Low-cost airlines such as Vueling and Ryanair have moved into the airport and operate cheap flights to Seville on a seasonal as well as year round basis from cities such as London, Rome and Dublin.
