Airport Porto OPO
Porto Airport, also known as Aeroporto Francisco Francisco Sá Carneiro, is the second largest airport in Portugal. It is not directly in Porto, but about 6 miles north of the city near the town of Maia. Porto airport is served by a number of scheduled airlines and low-cost airlines including Easyjet and Ryanair. Location
Opened in 1945, the airport is about 6 miles north of Porto. Take the N 107 to the airport exit and then follow the signs to the parking.
Rail passengers take trains to Estação de São Bento and then head for the Estação da Trindade on the metro line D (orange ), change for the metro line E (purple) to the airport. Alternatively take the buses 601,602,604 and 120 from the city centre to the airport.
Taxis are widely available at Porto airport.
