Granada Airport

The international Granada airport is officially called Federico García Lorca Airport after the famous Spanish poet and writer, is located about 15 kilometres (9 miles) west of the city centre. It is primarily used for domestic flights in the summer months, but also by some charter airlines from Britain. The airport is a gateway for tourists wanting to visit the famous and beautiful city of Granada and world famous Alhambra palace and those travelling onto the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Regular domestic scheduled flights serve Barcelona and the Capital Madrid, from here further national and international flights are available.
