The Maltese national airline KM Malta Airlines commenced operations on 31st January 2024 when its predecessor, Air Malta PLC, ceased operations.

From its base at Malta Airport, KM Malta Airlines flies year-round to 17 major European cities, including those in the UK, France and Italy. The airline serves Heathrow and Gatwick airports in the UK.

The airline also has codeshare agreements with partner airlines such as Lufthansa, Air France/KLM and Austrian Airlines.
