Airport Shanghai Pudong PVG
Shanghai Pudong International Airport is one of the five most important and largest airports in the People's Republic of China. It is also a major aviation hub in East Asia and the hub of airlines Juneyao Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Air China.A further airport in Shanghai is the smaller international airport, Shanghai - Hongqioa.

Location
The airport was opened on 1.1.1999, the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic and is located about 35 km or 20 miles south east of the city centre in he district of Pudong. It is accessible by car via the signposted Yingbin Expressway.
Between the airport and Long Yang Road Metro Station (30 km covered in about 8 minutes) the only magnetically powered high speed maglev train in the world (Shanghai Maglev Train). The Metro lines 2 and 10 also stop at the terminals. All current departure times are available locally.
