Airport San Sebastian EAS

San Sebastian Airport is the most important airport in the Basque region and the Gipukoa province, which borders on France. The small regional airport is maintained by AENA, who are also responsible for monitoring Spanish airspace.

Location

The airport is about 13 miles northeast of the city centre, directly in the bay of Chingoudy and between the two small towns Irún and Hondarribia and the French border town Hendaye. Motorists should take the A-8/E-80 San Sebastián - Biritaou to exit no. 2 to Irún and then the N-1 towards Hendaye. The airport is then signposted.

Rail passengers should take trains to the Estacion de RENFE de Irún and from there the Interbus line i-1 to the airport. The buses run at 30-minute intervals.
