Pisa Airport or Pisa-San Giusto Airport, also known as Pisa - Galileo Galilei, is the most important airport in the north-west Italian region of Toscana by traffic volume. The catchment area even includes the city of Florence, which is about 40 miles from the airport as the city administration has until now prevented the expansion of the Peretola airport. Nevertheless, the airport is served by a large number of scheduled and low-cost airlines including British Airways and Ryanair from London, Liverpool and Leeds.- URL: Official website

- Stations: The airport has a railway station, the "Pisa Aeroporto", trains run during the day at 30 minute intervals to Pisa Centrale.
Location
The airport is less than 2 miles from the city centre. Those arriving by car please take the A12/E80 motorway to the exit "Pisa" and then follow the signs to the airport on the Strada Grande Comunicazione Firenze-Pisa-Livorno. Alternatively take the SS1 from Pisa or the SS206 from Collesalvetti.
Rail passengers please head for Pisa Central railway station and then take the airport shuttle train that serves the airport at 30-minute intervals, Pisa airport has its own train station. The journey takes about 5 minutes. From Piazza della Stazione the daily bus operated by LAM (Linea Alta Mobilatà) serves the airport at 10 minute intervals.
From Pisa airport to Florence, take trains from the Pisa airport train station to Florence Santa Maria Novella station.
