Montpellier Airport Méditerranée, also known by its old name Fréjorgues Airport, is located in the southern French département Hérault, near the town of Maugio, near the town of Montpellier. Location

Montpellier airport is about 4 miles southwest of the city centre, directly on the Gulf d’Aigues-Mortes. By car, take the A9/E80 to exit no. 29 Montpellier Est, the airport is then signposted.

Rail passengers should take SNCF trains to the main railway station and then use public transport operated by TAM (Transports de l’Agglomération de Montpellier). The daily shuttle buses from the Place de l’Europe are timed to coincide with scheduled airlines’ departure and arrival times between 5.30 am and 11 pm.
