Location

The airport is about 11 km or 7 miles southwest of Madurai Junction Railway Station. By car from Madurai either use the Avaniya Puram Byepass Road or the National Highway 45B. Between the airport and the centre of Madurai there is a regular shuttle bus service. Alternatively, please take a taxi, rent a car or tuk-tuks (rickshaw) from just outside the airport grounds.
