Airport Helsinki-Vantaa HEL
Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is the largest passenger airport in Finland and one of the biggest airports in northern Europe. It is located about 10 miles (17 km) north of the capital city Helsinki, in Vantaa. Location
From Helsinki city centre, the Tuusual Road (Highway 45) will take you towards the north. Coming from the west and Espoo, use the Kehä III (Highway E18 or E50) towards the east and from the east , the Kehä III (Highway E18 or E50) towards the west. On each of these roads there are signs to the airport.
Bus stops in front of the two terminals connect the airport with all destinations in the vicinity, and coaches also connect major Finnish cities with the airport. To reach the city centre of Helsinki or Espoo and other towns in the surrounding area, please use the YTV-line buses, or the Finnair City Bus to Helsinki city centre and then a shuttle bus to Helsinki Airport. By public transport the airport may be accessed directly from the main railway station in Vantaa Helsinki using the bus number 615.
