Craiova Airport is an important airport in Romania. It is at the eastern edge of town also the capital of the province of Dolj in the south of Romania.

Location

Opened in 1938, the airport is about 5 miles east of the city centre. From Craiova use the DN-65/E-70;E-574 towards Slatina and then follow the airport signs.

Rail and bus passengers head for Craiova station or the main bus station and then either use a taxi or the R.A.T bus number 9, this stops by the metro opposite the airport grounds.
