Airport Alesund AES

Alesund Airport is an important civilian airport in Norway. It is on the island of Vigra, which lies north of Alesund, on the highway 658. By traffic volume it is currently one of the ten major airports in the country.

Location

Opened in 1958, the airport is located about 8 or 9 miles north of Alesund on the island of Vigra. From Alesund take the highway 658 in a northerly direction and follow the airport signs. A shuttle operates approximately 60 minutes prior to each flight from Alesund bus terminal to the airport.
