Tips and tricks to help you find cheap flights from Tel Aviv to Bangkok
Useful information about the flight from Tel Aviv to Bangkok
Explore Beautiful Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and home to some wonderful sights and has a population of over 8 million making it the most populated city in Thailand too. Whilst it is full of wonder and exotic temples decorated with lavish colours you can also find some home comforts here in the wonderful nightlife and entertainment.
Best Times to Travel
Bangkok has a monsoon season when it rains for very long, extended periods of time, if you don't like rain then do not visit between June and November. February is a wonderful time to visit as you can experience the Chinese New Year, make sure to check when it is as the date varies each year. Another exciting time to visit Bangkok is between the 13th and 15th of April during Songkran which is the Thai new year celebrations. Another festival not to forget is the Festival of Light in November, again the date can vary so check before you travel.
Things to Remember Before You Travel
You must make sure that there's at least 6 months left on your passport before you visit Bangkok, a visa isn't required if you're staying less than 30 days. Ask your GP about vaccinations at least 6 weeks before you go as it is recommended to have Hepatitis A, Malaria and other vaccines when you are in Bangkok. Food in Bangkok is generally a lot cheaper in Bangkok than it is in the UK and the cost of living overall is much cheaper as well so this will save you money, also remember they are 7 hours ahead of GMT.
Local Information about Bangkok's Transport and Accommodation
The Airport Rail Link stops frequently at the airport and provides direct access to the terminal. The BKK direct train to central Bangkok costs around 100 THB, from there you can change or take a taxi to your final destination. The Airport Link City Line is cheaper but it also takes longer due to the numerous stops along the way. Popular areas for hotels include Chinatown and the Khao-San-Road area with prices around 360THB. Buses are cheap but complex, the metro is also cheap. Taxis are cheap, fast and very popular. Avoid Tuk-Tuks as they are used to lure tourists and can be expensive.
