Stansted Airport Transfer, Accommodation and Transport
After arriving at Stansted airport, the fastest way to the city is to use the airport train service. The station is under the airport building terminal and trains run at a frequency of 15 minutes. The journey to Liverpool Street takes around 45 minutes and costs around £8 for a one-way ticket. Book online in advance for the best deals. There are also CrossCounty trains from Stansted which serve towns in the Midlands and Cambridgeshire. National Express buses operate services to many other destinations. Travellers can save money using an Oyster card. This requires a £5 deposit for the card itself, which is refundable.
