Things to note before you go

In terms of security, it is strictly forbidden to import foreign publications, pork and alcohol, and punishment is severe. Also, it is recommended to avoid demonstrations. The cost of life is lower than in the UK and you should always haggle in markets. You can find snacks like falafel for around 25,000 IRR.
