Delhi is particularly hot from April until the end of July, when temperatures can reach 45 degrees celsius. The best time to visit Delhi is during the months of October to March when daytime temperatures tend to be comfortably warm. Passports must contain at least two blank pages, and be valid for 180 days or more when making an application for a visa. Visitors from certain countries are expected to hold a valid polio vaccination certificate. In addition, vaccination against yellow fever may be required. Other recommended vaccinations include tetanus, diphtheria, and hepatitis A. It is advised that women should exercise caution when in Delhi, especially if travelling alone. The cost of living in Delhi is significantly lower than the United Kingdom. A meal for two at a mid-range restaurant is around £10 in Delhi, while in London the cost would be approximately £50. However, expect to pay about the same price for superior quality electronics. The time in Delhi, India, is UTC/GMT +5:30 hours. There is no daylight saving time. Local Delhi transport and accommodation
