Airport Rotterdam RTM

Rotterdam Airport, also known as Vliegveld Zestienhoven, was opened in 1956 and is currently the second most important airport in the Netherlands by traffic volume. It is near the port of the same name in a western province of Holland.

Location

The airport is about 4 miles north west of the city centre. Passengers arriving by car please take the motorway. Follow the 13/E19 to exit 11 ( Berkel en Rodenrijs) and then follow the signs to the airport on the N209.

Rail passengers take trains to Rotterdam Centraal Station and then take the RET airport shuttle from the bus station opposite. The bus runs Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. - 12:25 a.m. every 10 minutes. On Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. every 15 minutes and on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. every 15 minutes.

There is also a night bus service B12, which runs on Saturdays at 4:10a.m; 5:10 and 5:40 a.m. and on Sundays at 5:10; 6:10 and 07:10 a.m.
