Airport Kuwait-Kuwait International KWI

Kuwait International Airport is Kuwait's only civilian airport. The airport has the capacity to handle around 9 million passengers annually.

Location

The airport is about 16 km or 1 miles south of Kuwait City, near the town of Al-Farawaniyah. Between the airport and the capital there is a regular shuttle bus service operated by the bus number 501 (KPTC) at 30 minute intervals during the day. Other buses also stopping at the airport are the bus routes 13, 21, 39x and 51 (City Bus). Current departure times are available locally. Alternatively, please take a taxi or rent a car.
