The Canadian airline Porter Airlines was established in 2006 in Toronto. The airline specialises in operating flights to regional destinations. Its virgin flight took off on 23rd October 2006 from Toronto to Ottawa. Currently the airline flies from its hub in Toronto to Montreal, Halifax and Ottawa. Flights in Canada to Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Windsor and Quebec are in preparation.
