Ajet's fleet consists of 32 Airbus A320/A321 and 55 Boeing 737-800/MAX 8 aircraft.
History
The former Anadolu Jet was launched as a virtual airline by Turkish Airlines in February 2008. Flight operations started on 23 April 2008. Initially, Anadolu Jet took over all domestic flights of Turkish Airlines from Ankara and used its Air Operator Certificate. International flights to and from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport followed later.
In February 2023, Turkish Airlines confirmed plans to transform AnadoluJet from a registered trademark into an independent airline under the name "AJet".
Turkish Airlines unveiled its new branding and livery in November 2023. On 2. January 2024, AnadoluJet received its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) ahead of its planned rebranding in early 2024 and was finally renamed to AJet on 31 March 2024. March 2024 to AJet.
Network
With the airports of Istanbul-Sabiha Göckcen, Ankara and Antalya, Ajet currently has three bases from which it operates regular domestic and international flights, including to London Stansted.
