Location
The airport is located about 12 miles south of downtown Seattle and is about 2 miles west of the Interstate 5. Passengers arriving by car can access the airport on the Interstate 5, taking exit # 152 and then following the signs for the airport on S. 188th Street. Alternatively follow the I-5 to exit # 151 or take the State Road 518 to the exit for International Boulevard.
Rail passengers take Amtrak trains to Seattle - King Street Station and then change for the buses # 174 or # 194 operated by Metro Transit
In the greater city area of Seattle, the public transport operators King County’s Metro Transit provides several bus services that all stop at the airport, these include the bus numbers # 140, 174, 180, 194, 560 and 574. There are also various daily rail and bus links operated by Sound Transit serving the metropolitan area and the suburbs of Seattle, for example from Redmond, Lakewood, Auburn, Tacoma and Gig Harbor.
