Manila Ninoy Aquino International airport, also called Manila International Airport, is the most important and largest airport in the south-east Asian Republic of the Philippines, a country in the Western Pacific, which consists of approximately 7100 islands, of which only about 900 are permanently inhabited. There are three terminals at the airport as well as a domestic terminal. Most direct flights to the airport operate from Asian airports such as Hong Kong, Tokyo or Beijing. Flights from European airports will involve at least one stopover with a journey time of more than 20 hours.
