Airport Kaunas KUN
Kaunas Airport is one of the 3 major civilian airports in the North European Republic of Lithuania. It is close to Kaunas, the second largest city in the country, which is about 62 miles west of Vilnius and is also the capital of the province of Kaunus. Location
The airport was opened in 1988 and is located about 14 miles northeast of the city centre. From Kaunas use the A-6/E-262 motorway towards Jonava to the signposted turnoff for Karmelava and then follow the airport signs to the car park.
Rail and bus passengers head for Kaunas main railway station or bus station and then use either a taxi or the bus number 29 to the airport.
