Hanoi International Airport, officially called Nội Bài International Airport, is the second largest airport in the South East Asian Socialist Republic of Vietnam by annual passenger traffic volume. It is not directly in Hanoi, the capital of the country, but about 40 km or 24 miles further north near the town of Phuc Yen. The airport's significance is growing with the increasing popularity of Vietnam as a tourist destination.
