Airport Amsterdam Schiphol AMS

Amsterdam Airport is officially called Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport and is the main airport in the Netherlands. It is not only one of the largest airports on the European continent, but with more than 47 million passengers per year, also among the 20 largest in the world. The airport serves as the main hub for the Dutch airline company Amsterdam Airlines, Arkefly, KLM, Martinair and Transavia. The airport is gaining in popularity as a destination for people who are heading to Amsterdam for city breaks since Easyjet along with other low cost airlines now operate cheap flights to Amsterdam from many airports in Europe such as Barcelona, Bristol, London and Madrid.

Train: Rail passengers can travel directly by train to Schiphol Railway Station, which is directly under the Schiphol Plaza, the central hall of the terminal. Furthermore, from Amsterdam Centraal Station daily services to the airport are operated by NS trains or the bus routes 192, 195, 245 and 358.

Taxi: Travel taxis (shared) and private taxis are available at Amsterdam Schiphol.
