Wick Airport, now officially calledWick John O'Groats Airport,is in the far northeast of Scotland about 174 miles north of Edinburgh in the county of Caithness. The small local airport is managed by the Highlands and Islands Airports Limited, a company incorporated under the Scottish Transport Ministry and operating from its base at Inverness Airport, administering a total of 10 smaller Scottish Airports.

The airport is situated on the northern outskirts of the harbour town. Motorists should take the A882 or A99 to wick and then follow the signs to the airport.

Passengers travelling by public transport should take the train or the bus to Wick. The airport is about 1.5 miles from the city centre. There is currently no shuttle service.
