Viva Aerobus has 40 Airbus A320s and 16 Airbus A321s in its fleet.
History
The low-cost carrier Viva Aerobus, founded by the Irish Ryanair and the Mexican bus company IAMSA, began flight operations on 30 November 2006. Ryanair owns 49% of the share capital of the airline, which is currently focused purely on the domestic Mexican market.
Network
Viva Aerobus flies from its home base in Monterrey and its three other hubs in Cancun, Mexico City and Guadalajara to more than 50 different Mexican airports, including Acapulco, Culiacan, Ixtapa, Merida and Veracruz. International destinations include Bogota, Lima, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Oakland.
