Ibiza Airport is in the south of the Balearic island of Ibiza. With more than 4 million passengers annually, it is one of the busiest airports in Spain.

Almost 85 % of all passengers land and take off from the island during the peak season, in the period from May to October and the airport is therefore served by a lot of airlines operating seasonal flights. The airport is managed and operated by AENA, who are also responsible for monitoring Spanish airspace. Most visitors to Ibiza arrive on charter flights as part of all inclusive package deals from the UK or Germany and then head out to the popular beach resorts on the island.
