Location
The airport was opened in 1946 and is located about 6 miles south of the city centre. From Tartu use the national highway 2 to Ülenurme, then just follow the signs to the airport.

Rail and bus passengers head for Tartu main station or bus station and then use either a taxi or the bus that runs every day from about 6 am to 9.30 pm and goes to the nearby town Ülenurme.
