Set your watch one hour ahead of London time before travelling to Paris and buy Euros so you can enjoy visiting the city's many attractions.  The cost of living in Paris is mostly cheaper than in London. Most major credit cards are accepted in Paris so you don't have to carry a lot of cash with you. See many of the city's world famous attractions like Le Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower on foot.

Local information about arrival, accommodation and transport

It only takes around 30 minutes by train to reach Paris city centre from Charles De Gaulle Airport and approximately 50 to 55 minutes by coach.  Train RER B in ca. 30 min and for around 10 EUR to Paris-Chatelet les Halles; Roissybus to Opéra in ca. 1 h costs ca. 11 EUR.; Taxi from 60EUR. Orly: Tram T7 to Villejuif - L.Aragon; Bus 183 to Porte de Choisy; Orlybus to Denfert. When it comes to accommodation, Paris has everything from small boutique hotels to five-star luxury accommodation.  There's also to an extensive choice of mid-range budget apartments and cheap hostels. The cheapest way to get around Paris is by Metro where you can buy low-cost daily or weekly tickets.
