The London airport LCY is located within easy reach of the city centre. Public transport to and from the airport is provided by the Docklands Light Railway, buses, trains and black cabs, taking passengers to the heart of London's financial district.

Docklands Light Railway services connect East London to the Tube network. Trains leave every 8-15 minutes and take only 7 minutes to reach Canning Town (Jubilee Line) for instance.

Bus: besides local bus services, there is a free shuttle bus (573) between London City airport and Prince Regent Station (Docklands Light Railway).
 

Scheduled flights from Glasgow to London

A scheduled flight will be cheapest if purchased several weeks in advance of travel and as usual, midweek flights will be lower in cost than those at weekends. Scheduled airlines have several advantages over low-cost carriers: baggage is mostly included, meals or snacks are often served free of charge and the overall service is usually of a higher standard.
