The stunning city of Nice in the French Riviera is a popular holiday destination. It caters for both old and young alike, there's something for everyone to do and lots to see. Nice has a wonderful warm Mediterranean climate especially during May to October. The winters are mild and inviting. Why not travel to Nice during the city's holiday and festival celebrations? February sees the 14 day Carnaval de Nice with colourful parades with many exciting events. Enjoy the Nice Jazz Festival, held since 1948, which takes place during the first two weeks in July. Nice celebrates the Fete Nationale Francaise on the 14th July. It's the French National holiday with concerts, fireworks and parades, great fun for everyone.
