Getting around this capital city

These air conditioned vehicles operate on a ten to fifteen minute schedule until late evening. Pre-paid taxis are also available, follow the signs to make arrangements. A less expensive, more adventurous option is to take a bus or taxi to the Dum Dum metro station. In this case getting to the heart of the city will cost about Rs 10 in addition to the taxi fare.
